This set of 24 double-sided cards features flashcards on one side – eachdepicting a familiar household item with the word for what it is. Then flip themover to see an image of that item in the room of a house, along with two newwords/items. Each card is one third of a room. Like a puzzle, assemble the8 rooms to reveal the picture of the big house, learning lots of new wordsalong the way!

Children will first show/develop their knowledge of 24 basic household itemsdepicted on one side of these flashcards. Then turn the double-sided cards overto reveal the item pictured in the room of a house, along with two newitems/words to learn. Each card is one third of a room. Have fun reassemblingthe 8 rooms of the big house and find all the items featured on the flashcards,learning and practising the new words too. Listen to the correct pronunciationof each word on the multimedia app.

You can further enrich the experience by teaching the children the names ofeach room: “bedroom, wardrobe, kitchen, bathroom, dining room, living room,garage, basement”.
