The Cosi Compact II features a narrow width, and one of the shortest rearfacing depths of any 0 to 4 Convertible Car Seat. This makes it great forsituations where space in the vehicle is limited. The Cosi Compact II is a TypeA2 restraint, meaning it is suitable for Rearward Facing to a large 12 monthold (average 30 month old). Our unique integrated anti-rebound design means youdon’t have to deal with any extra steps involving pull-up rebound bars.
Installation is simple!
The five shoulder harness slot heights and nine recline positions in ForwardFacing mode will cater for an extremely broad range of children, from 12 monthsto approximately a large four year old (average 6 year old). The Cosi CompactII features our easy to use single belt path. This makes installation a breeze,whether in rearward or forward facing modes. Installation of the Cosi Compact IIis simple. A pass-through threading of the seatbelt, and then attachment andadjustment of the top tether means the Cosi Compact II can be installed in undera minute. This is perfect if you frequently move the restraint betweenvehicles.
Air Cocoon Technology™ (A.C.T)
The Cosi Compact II also features Air Cocoon Technology™ (A.C.T.). Thisenhances side impact protection through blow moulding design, dramaticallyreducing the impact forces during a crash. Our blow moulded design makes thewhole restraint behave like an airbag in an accident. This greatly reduces theforces transferred to your child, without the need for add-on plastic cushions.The vehicle belt path design reduces forward movement in a frontal accident whencompared to traditional through-the-backrest belt paths. This allows for a muchmore solid and stable install of the restraint.
The cover features press-stud attachment to the shell for super easy removalfor cleaning, crotch buckle pad, shoulder strap pads and removable seatinserts.
