Grown in the Comoros archipelago, fresh Ylang-Ylang flowers are steamdistilled to obtain the essence used by perfumers in a number of fragrances.Ylang-Ylang offers elegance, volume and originality as the top note ofDiorissimo. Lily of the Valley, the symbol of Dior, is frequently associatedwith good luck. Despite its intense fragrance, this flower is “mute”. Theperfumer must recompose it into an accord with shades of Green, Floral, Jasmineand Ylang-Ylang. Sweet and fleeting, it is the heart note of Diorissimo. Thesymbol of feminine softness, jasmine is one of the most commonly used flowers inperfumery. It is so delicate that it alone is a fragrance. Jasmine lavishes anintensely floral base note on Diorissimo.
